34. Freiburger Lesbenfilmtage

The “Lesbian Film Festival Freiburg” is Germany’s oldest lesbian film festival and one of only three such festivals in Europe. During five days, the festival shows international productions of lesbian cinema, including feature films, documentaries and a short film programme. The best feature / documentary film and the best short film can win the audience award “Golden Tanna”. Besides cinema, there are readings, parties, etc. on schedule. Since 2017, we are organizing “Herbstflimmern”, an extra festival weekend in autumn with films and special events. The festival is currently organized by seven voluntarily working women.

Awards

Since 2015, the Lesbian Film Festival Freiburg endows two audience awards: „Golden Tanna . Best Long Film“ for a feature or documentary and „Golden Tanna.Best Short Film“ for a short film. Each award wins a trophy money of 400 Euro.
