28. Queerstreifen Münster
The Queerstreifen are a non-profit LGBTIQ film festival in Münster. They take place every year in early November over four days, always from Thursday to Sunday.
As one of the smaller LGBTIQ film festivals in Germany, we have a loyal audience in Münster and the region and between 1,300 and 1,700 guests every year. The film days take place in the program cinema Cinema, whose large hall offers space for 158 spectators.
Derzeit besteht das Queerstreifen-Organisationsteam aus sieben Personen, vier Cis-Frauen und drei Cis-Männern.
In our program we show dramas, comedies, short films and documentaries from all over the world. When possible, we invite filmmakers or actors to speak to the audience. We also host readings, and each year the Queerstreifen open with a small performance by local or regional artists.
