Camillo Queer Cinema Week – Das LGBTIQA* Filmfestival in Görlitz

From November 13 to 19, 2025, Camillo Queer Cinema Week 2025 will take place at the CamilloKino cinema in Görlitz. In 2025, Camillo Queer Cinema Week will celebrate its 10th anniversary under the theme “Queer in Conflict.” Eleven festival films, a short film competition (Neisse-Q-Shorts), exhibition, performance, concerts, lectures, and readings—seven days and almost certainly the largest queer festival in eastern Saxony.

The Neisse-Q-Shorts make Camillo Queer Cinema Week Saxony's only queer festival with its own film submissions. Following an international call for submissions, 12 queer short films were selected, which will be shown in two blocks at the festival. The jury and audience awards will be presented on November 15, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. at the CamilloKino. The two award-winning films will be screened again.

Admission to the events is by voluntary contribution, made possible through funding. Everyone is welcome who wishes to see, hear, and understand queer realities.
