14th QUEER-Streifen Regensburg

Regensburg, a historic and vibrant city on the banks of the Danube, offers a surprising variety of film festivals (e.g. the International Short Film Week, CinEScultura, Transit Filmfest, HARD:LINE Festival, Stummfilmwoche). During the 13th edition, we welcomed even more cineastes than in our record year 2023. The feature-length and short films were rated very positively by the audience. As part of the 14th film festival in October 2025, we will once again be showing LGBTQI*-themed feature films, documentaries and short films from all over the world in the cinemas at the Andreasstadel.

Awards

The 2024 Jury Prize for the best short film, endowed with €750 in prize money and donated by Praxiszentrum Alte Mälzerei, went to SEE YOU 'ROUND THE BLOCK (Israel) by Daniel Gat.
- The 2024 Audience Award for the best lesbian short film, endowed with €250 in prize money and donated by Sparkasse Regensburg, went to QUEEN SIZE (France) by Avril Besson.
- The Audience Award 2024 for the best gay short film, endowed with €250 prize money and donated by Sparkasse Regensburg, went to CHAVO (Sweden) by Alessio Araci.
The 2023 Audience Award for the best queer short film, endowed with €250 in prize money and donated by Sparkasse Regensburg, went to STONE (United Kingdom) by Jake Graf and Hannah Graf.
The non-endowed audience award for the best feature film/documentary went to WHAT A FEELING (Austria) by Kat Rohrer.
